Rebecca Black :: New album

The 14-year-old,Teenage Singer Rebecca Black  who rose to fame in March after her video was watched by millions of people on YouTube, will add My Moment to her YouTube channel on 18 July.

She is also finishing off a five-track EP, to be self-released in August.

My Moment was written by Brandon "Blue" Hamilton, who has worked with Justin Bieber.

The video will show Rebecca Black receiving an award at her school and attending red carpet premieres.

Black's parents paid $4,000 (£2,516) for the production of her Friday song and video.

The song was widely mocked at the time for its lyrics and Rebecca Black admitted on American TV that she had cried over some of the criticism.

It has since been performed by Justin Bieber, as well as on the hit TV show Glee.

Before the video was taken down in June, Friday had been viewed 167 million times.

A spokesman for the teenager says her team asked YouTube to take the song down because of a dispute with the song's producers Ark Music Factory.
